We recently stayed at a campsite in the city and it was such a unique experience! We loved being surrounded by trees and hearing the sounds of wildlife, even though we were in the middle of the urban hustle and bustle. The beds were really comfortable and the restroom/shower facilities were clean and well maintained. The staff were also really friendly and helpful, answering all our questions. Plus, the campsite was conveniently located near the metro stop, making it easy for us to explore the city.

The only downside was that the area around the campsite felt a bit scary at night. It was quite dark and the lack of lighting made it a bit frightening to walk around, especially for two girls traveling alone.

Our stay at Camping Vliegenbos was amazing. The cozy cabins provided everything we needed, from comfortable beds to a well-equipped kitchen. The shower and toilet blocks were always clean and well-maintained. The location was perfect, with easy access to public transportation and just a short distance from the city center. The campsite itself was beautiful, nestled in the woods and offering a peaceful and serene atmosphere. Despite a few minor issues, like the cleanliness of the sheets and the lack of private toilets in the larger cabins, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I highly recommend Camping Vliegenbos for a unique and enjoyable holiday experience.

We rented a cabin for 2 nights and it was really great. The campsite was so easy to find, just a 10-minute walk from the metro stop Noorderpark. We also enjoyed taking the free ferry to explore the city. The shower and toilet block was clean and well-lit. The cabin itself was well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay. Communication with the campsite was excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The restaurant by the entrance served good hot food, and there was a supermarket nearby. Beautiful location, surrounded by nature but still close to the city. We would definitely stay here again.
